Watch Closely

I’ve shared this quote from one of my PLA students before, but I think it bears repeating:

I learned all about leadership communication by working for a person who did not do it well.  Everything she did represented everything one should not do when striving to be a leader.  (From a student’s essay on Leadership Communication.)

Of course, Yogi Berra also had something to say about this notion as well:

You can observe a lot just by watching.

Now *that* is a good observation!
